A bunch of 12 garlic scapes. Scapes are the flower stalk of the garlic plant. We harvest them to tell the plant to focus on growing the bulb. We also harvest them because they are DELICIOUS! Garlic scapes are a slightly milder garlic flavor. We use them very similarly to green garlic - we chop them up and eat them raw and cooked. We like to make scape butter by combining the scapes with butter in the food processor. You can also dry them into garlic scape powder, make them into pesto, or pickle them. Scapes are only around for 3-4 weeks so grab them while you can!
